# Proxoria

> Proxoria connects AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, or any Model Context Protocol client) to the business apps you already use. Each connector turns a third-party API into tools your AI can call, with per-user authentication and write actions gated by human approval.

## What is Proxoria

Proxoria is a multi-tenant platform that exposes third-party business apps as tools an AI assistant can call. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard that lets AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT invoke external tools; Proxoria implements an MCP server whose tool list is built per user from the connectors that user has authenticated.

## Key facts

- Works with any MCP-compatible AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral, and others).
- No official third-party MCP server is required — Proxoria provides the connector.
- Authentication is per user (OAuth or API key); third-party credentials are encrypted at rest.
- Write actions run through a confirmation/approval guardrail before anything changes.
- Focus is the long tail of business apps that have no official MCP server.
